From concept, script to screen we make films from scratch. Original in our thinking and ready with a multitude of skills in the area of film and video production, post production, motion graphics and animation.
Annabel Vine: Writer/Director
Annabel has 20 years of film making experience to draw from. Her role at Wax is to drum up ideas, shoot and deliver. She brings a wealth of hands on production knowledge and is never happier than when a good creative plan is hatching.
Luke Flegg: Camera. Luke is a big picture visionary with a background in cinematography. His inventive approach to his work, combined with his experience and fantastic hand held camera skills achieve stunning results.
Ant Evans: Motion Graphics/animation.
Ant is a freelance motion graphic wizard who brings the technical skills and creative flair that make animated films pop. With over 12 years of experience he has the speed and understanding needed to make animation an affordable element of any film.
Jessica Pearson: Camera/sound/editor.
Jessica has been working with Wax Films since 2014. She is a dedicated shooter whose flair has brought some sparkle to many of our films. She has fast tracked herself to become a valuable all rounder, as comfortable in the edit as behind the camera.

Founder of Wax Film Annabel Vine is a writer/director with a range of award-winning shorts and extensive commercial experience. She has a reputation for bold ideas, outsider stories and an unconventional approach, even in a corporate setting.
Her commissioned feature screenplay SKYWARD is in active development with Shire Oak Films.
She has two short films coming out in 2018. SKIP GIRL is on the official selection for BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Film festival, among others, and GRANBAD, which is in the final stages of post-production. Her previous short, LETTERBOX, won 9 awards and had 6 nominations at international film festivals, including BAFTA qualifiers.
Annabel is a film graduate from PCL and began her career as an editor at Ealing Studios. She went on to join James Lebon’s production company, Love Films, who were making music videos for household names and emerging West London hip-hop artists. Later she worked for Billy Connolly’s production company Tickety-Boo, directing and editing his live show DVDs including ‘Two Night Stand’.
As well as SKYWARD she is working on a feature comedy BEDTIME STORIES, a Sci-FI BOTANICA and co-writing a sit-com THE ANARCHISTS’ COOKBOOK.
